    Speed Through Technology.

    We have automated as many inbound ordering processes as possible, including receiving orders from customers and then routing orders to our Fulfillment Specialists. Our customers elect to send us Purchase Orders in all sorts of ways, from EDI to e-mail and even fax, and we’ve found ways to automate the processing of each of these. From there, we send these orders near-real-time to our Fulfillment Specialists and, ultimately, the dock door.

    Speed Through Carriers.

    HM Wallace spends a great deal of time partnering with its carriers to ensure the best service possible to you, our customer. We have negotiated the latest possible pick times to allow you the most time to serve your customer, and our strategically-located warehouse is within miles of key hubs for multiple parcel and LTL carriers.

    TLC.

    We pride ourselves in having cutting-edge technologies, but the truth of the matter is that a layer of TLC on top of every process is the secret sauce to our success.     We Treat Your Customers Like Ours.

    We drop-ship more product directly to our customers’ customers than any other Master Distributor, so we have to think about this critical customer touch point – we better get it right. Thus, we ask you to design a customized Shipping Label and Packing Slip that fit your brand. Your customers expect a product from you, not from HM Wallace, and we make sure it feels this way.

    We Make it Easy to Work with Us.

    It’s our job to make it as easy as possible to work with us. Whether you order from us once a month or once an hour, we’ll work with you to design the right processes for your organization. You tell us how often, in what format, and with which data you want to receive critical documents from us – inventory feeds, sales and tracking confirmations, invoices and statements.

    We Invest in You.

    We understand that sometimes you’ll need us to invest in you. This may mean that we have to help you with displays and catalogs, or you may ask us to present our products at company meetings or trade shows. We’ve done it all, and we’re ready to do it for you!

    First Cost vs. Volume Rebates

    Some customers want the lowest possible guaranteed First Cost, while others will roll the dice for deeper discounts based on volume targets. We can accommodate either of these scenarios – as long as our incentives are aligned, we’ll build creative solutions with you.

    Our Portfolio Approach

    We know that certain product lines mean different things to different customers. While a particular customer may need the sharpest price on Delta and Pfister product, that same customer may have less pressure on Hansgrohe or Danze, for example. As long as we can hit our financial targets with the full portfolio of products purchased by a customer, we can get creative with pricing.

    In fact, for some of our largest customers, who can hit key volume commitments, we are open to selling certain high-velocity SKUs at levels unmatched in the industry.

    We’ve partnered with other customers to run Trial Pricing for particular lines for specified periods of time, allowing the customer to experiment with the marketplace. Again, as long as we’re made whole in the long run, we’ll work with you!

    Online Selling Tools

    We have dedicated, in-house technologists who can help our customers build online selling tools for their showroom consultants.     Reporting and Analytics

    On a regular basis, we are surprised at how grateful our customers are for the reporting we provide on a recurring basis. Specifically, we can easily provide you SKU-level and Branch-level sales data, and we’ll slice and dice it the way you’d like. If you want Inventory feeds or confirmation and tracking information hourly, you got it!

    In addition, at no charge, we perform Value-Added Analytical Services to help our customers identify missed sales opportunities. We leverage our broad customer base and our Data Warehouse to determine how certain customers can grow sales, and then we partner with these customers to make the right changes.   • We ship more product, as a percentage of our total sales, directly to our customers’ customer’s home than any other Master Distributor. As a consequence, we think a lot about this critical customer touch point – we better get it right. In most cases, this is the last touch point your customer has with you, so we want to make it a good and lasting one.

     

    Product Presentation

    How the product is presented to your customer is paramount. Thus, we ask all of our customers to design their own customized Shipping Label and Packing Slip that fit their brand – every one of our shipments will include this customization, as you wish.

    Shipping Method

    We know that your customers are very comfortable receiving product via FedEx or UPS, and that makes sense – they have easy online tracking, work six days a week, don’t require an appointment, don’t leave a pallet on your porch.

    That’s why we’ve taken action. We ship more product parcel, via FedEx or UPS, than any other Master Distributor in the U.S.

    Product Integrity

    HM Wallace invests heavily in the right packaging to ensure that your customers receive product just as they expected – all in one piece. That’s why every single faucet we ship is re-packaged in a brand new box and with air fill on three sides. We’ve measured our competition, and we know they don’t do this.
